Description

Folio 372: Richard Bridges, HMS Woolwich at Deptford. Sending the medical report on Lieutenant John Bushby, which declares him unfit for service at present.

Folio 373: enclosure with folio 372. Report dated 4 March 1802 of the survey on Bushby's health signed by six people including the captain and surgeon of HMS Woolwich, also HMS Chichester and HMS Heroine. He is 'troubled with epileptic fits' and his illness is confirmed by the previous surgeon of the Woolwich, John Crawford, as well as Sam Bromley the current surgeon.
