Folio 359: Edward Pelham Brenton, HMS Lark, Woolwich. Advising that he arrived here the previous night and has immediately begun dismantling the ship, in accordance with their Lordships' orders. His pay books will be sent to the commissioner that evening, and unless he is held up by lack of small craft to take off the provisions, he anticipates being able to pay off the ship on the 24 August. He has no one trustworthy to supervise the return of the stores, so intends to do it himself.
