Folio 357: Edward Pelham Brenton, HMS Lark, Plymouth. Advising of his arrival that morning and sending a copy of his journal [not now present] and a copy of his orders from Rear Admiral Sir John Thorne, as Duckworth, K.B.
Folio 358: enclosure with folio 357. Copy of order dated 29 June 1802 from Sir John Thomas Duckworth, C-in-C of HM ships in Jamaica, the Bahamas and adjacent. As he has been informed of the defects of HMS Lark, he directs Brenton to sail on the following Sunday, 4 July, and to make his way as best he can to Plymouth. To take with him the packets for the Seccretary of the Admiralty and await further orders.
