Description

Folio 352: Jahleel Brenton, HMS Minerve, Deptford. Noting that the ship is still without a purser, but that Sir James Saumarez has strongly recommended Mr Berry, currently purser of the Syren. Brenton says Sir James would be gratified if they would appoint him, and he himself would be most grateful, both for the good of his ship and the service.
