Folios 332-333: Ernest Brawn, HMS Strombolo, Deptford. Acknowledging receipt of Admiralty letter of the 11 June, with its enclosures, and replies that all the tickets for the invalids they took on board from Malta were duly forwarded to the Super, and that the four men: Henry Young, boatswain from Dego, William Delestre from Experiment, John Vanfriel from Renown, and Thomas Hynes of the Strombolo - to whom the letter alluded but did not name - were sent aboard with only their hospital certificates and he has since carried them as supernumeraries for their victuals. Asks that the board will advise of the men who should receive pay lists, and they will be immediately forwarded to the proper offices.
