Folio 268: William Bowen, HMS Caroline at Woolwich. Advising that as the Caroline has been on foreign service for a long time there is a considerable amount of prize money in Greenwich Hospital for the members of his crew. Tomorrow is the only day of the month that application for their share may be made, in person, and he would like to know if he may send the crew at the time appointed.
