Folio 246: R & A Toulman, Surry St., Strand. Notes that Capter Peter Turner Bover commanded HMS Windsor Castle during Captain Bertie's period of illness, from 16 August to 12 October 1800, as ordered by Lord St Vincent - copy of order attached. As Captain Bertie has passed the accounts for that period, he requests that Captain Bovey be paid, without the need of further accounts to be passed.
Folio 247: enclosure with folio 246. Copy of order from Earl St Vincent, directing Bover to take command of HMS Windsor Castle until further notice, due to the illness of Captain Bertie. Signed on board the Royal George, 4 August 1800.
