Folios 481-482: William Butterfield, HMS Hazard, Downs. Requests that Richard Woodley, Carpenter of HMS Hazard, who was left ashore sick at Belfast on 26 January 1800 and being old and infirm, requests the appointment of Robert Wilson who has served 6 years as a Carpenter's Mate on HMS Hazard as a suitable replacement for Woodley. However, given that the Admiralty were so good as to comply with his request to appoint John McGuyan as Boatswain of HMS Hazard he cannot with any propriety expect a like favour.
