Folios 388-389: George Bowen, HMS Trusty, Cove of Cork. Reports the arrival of HMS Trusty in the Cove of Cork. Having parted company with HMS Braakel in the Channel on 7 February 1800 at half past 10 AM. The bad state of the ship and the number of troops sick in fevers dissuaded him from bringing to for her. Encloses a report on the state and condition of HMS Trusty, the defects of said ship and the log [not present] for 6 to 16 February 1800.
Folios 389-390: enclosure with folios 388-389. Account dated 15 February 1800 of the defects of HMS Trusty, Cove of Cork. Signed George Bowen and William Pengelly - Carpenter.
