Description

Folios 194-196: Cooke and Halford, Beaufort Buildings, [41 Norfolk Street, Strand] [Agents]. Covering letter for the enclosed affidavit from Sir Edward Berry of the loss of books and papers necessary for passing his accounts for the ships mentioned. Request an order to dispense with them.

Folio 195: enclosure with folios 194-196. Sir Edward Berry KB, HMS Agamemnon as Lieutenant 16 May 1795 to 10 June 1796. HMS Captain as Lieutenant 11 June 1796 to 11 August 1796, HMS Captain as Acting Captain 12 August 1796 to 24 September 1796, HMS Captain as Lieutenant 24 September 1796 to 28 February 1797 and except HMS Bonne Citoyenne as Captain from 1 March 1797 to 31 March 1797. Sworn 22 August 1799 before Francis Wilson.
