Folio 353: John Bligh, HMS Agincourt, Portsmouth Harbour. Samuel Jones , Boatswain of this ship recalls George William entering as his servant on board HMS Druid in 1783 at Bristol, he continued in this situation until HMS Druid was paid off in 1788. He has not heard of him since but believes he was born in Bristol.
