Folios 351-352: George Hans Blake, Charleston, South Carolina. HMS Amaranthe, under his command was wrecked on 24 October 1799 to the south of Cape Canaveral, details will be sent by Admiral Sir Hyde Parker. After arriving at this place Charles Baxter, Master of the ship deserted together with other members of the crew, he thinks they may be on board either the Maria or Two Friends bound for the Port of London. H is sending a description.
