Folios 284-286: Sir Thomas Byard, HMS Bedford, Hamoaze. Requests that Archibald McMillan, Carpenter, HMS Bedford and Mr [Pussel?] of HMS Foudroyant are allowed to exchange ships. Says that the present Carpenter of HMS Foudroyant is a man of excellent character but Archibald McMillan has an earnest desire to sail with him.
