Description

Folios 280-282: Sir Thomas Byard, HMS Bedford, Hamoaze. Advises that he has, in accordance with their Orders of 12 May 1798, again enquired about Miles Jennings, said to be the Gunner of HMS Foudroyant, and has been informed by the Clerk of the Cheques Office that he has been dead for more than 2 years and has been reported in all the monthly returns, asks if the Gunner of HMS Bedford can be discharged into HMS Foudroyant.
