Folios 268-270: Sir Thomas Byard, HMS Bedford, Hamoaze. Requests an order is given to allowed the Purser to be allowed the beds he has supplied to the Surgeon and men of the ship when his accounts are passed. Explains 22 beds were supplied for the use of the men wounded in the action against the Dutch fleet in 11 October 1797 and which were afterwards thrown overboard and also the beds supplied to 32 men in lieu of those which were shot away or lost in said action.
