Folios 245-247: William Butterfield, HMS Hazard, Liverpool. Reports that having sailed from Liverpool on 23 September 1798 and proceeded as far as Holyhead, he was forced to return to Liverpool due to heavy gales which split his sails. Advises that he will sail for Cork Harbour as soon as the wind permits.
