Folios 419-420: Sir John Bligh, HMS Romney, Sheerness. To confirm his arrival at this port and enclosing a list of Trade Ships that he has accompanied from Spithead to the Downs.
Folio 420A: enclosure with folios 419-420. List dated 13 January 1798 by Sir John Bligh, Commander, HMS Romney, Spithead, to the Admiralty. A list of 15 named Ships and vessels under convoy of HMS Romney including their Masters (plus signatures), their Owners, how they were rigged, the numbers of men and guns onboard as well as the tonnages, where they had departed from, where they belonged, where they were bound, their cargoes and to whom they were consigned.
