Folios 397-398: Sir Henry Blackwood, HMS Brilliant, the Nore. His orders are to proceed immediately to Spithead to fit for foreign service. Asking how he should proceed regarding his Master, James Anderson, who has been subpaened to a trial next week regarding the loss of HMS Southampton in the Mediterranian, when he was a Master. Mention of the delay in sailing until tomorrow morning due to the delayed payment of some of his men.
