Folios 226-228: enclosure with folios 225-229: Petition signed by 26 members of the ship's company, HMS Medusa, Spithead, 27 May 1798, to Alexander Becher. 26 named signatrees given with the petition. With no objections to their Captain or Officers, having only been in actual service for 3-4 months as a hospital ship during their 15 months on board, they are requesting that they have more actual service than at present.
