Folios 55-58: James Bissett, HMS Janus, the Downs. Is sending a list of the sick on board.
Folio 56: enclosure in folios 55-58. List from B O'Brien, Surgeon, HMS Janus, dated 15 October 1797 naming 17 men suffering variously from flux, scurvey, ulcers, fever, tumour and being convalescent. Two of the patients with flux are worse, the others are better. John Oage with fever is better. No new patients added to the list today.
