Folio 49-52: James Bissett, HMS Janus, the Downs. Is sending a list of the sick on board.
Folio 50: enclosure in folios 49-52. List from B O'Brien, Surgeon, HMS Janus, dated 14 October 1797 naming 17 men suffering variously from flux, scurvey, ulcers, fever, tumour and being convalescent. John Oage with fever is better today.
