Folio 43: James Bissett, HMS Janus, the Downs. Is sending a list of the sick on board his ship.
Folio 44: Enclosure in folio 43. List from B O'Brien, Surgeon, HMS Janus, dated 11 October 1797 naming 20 men suffering variously from flux, scurvey, ulcers and being convalescent. Two convalescent patients and 2 scorbutic patients were discharged.
