Folioi 25: Sir Richard Bickerton, HMS Terrible, Torbay. In response to the letter to Captain Rowley requesting information on Mr. Younger's water purification machine which was trialled on HMS Ramillies it is not suitable for a ship at sea producing only a butt of filtered water, in 24 hours, which had a putried taste and provides a full account of its limitations.
