Folio 23: Sir Richard Bickerton, HMS Ramillies, Torbay. Before the fleet left St Helens Lieutenant Bell of the Marines applied to fill the vacancy for a Lieutenant on this ship but no response was received. He now wishes to withdraw his application due to a change of circumstance and the recovery of the Lieutenant who was sick. Asks for directions.
