Folios 194-196: Robert Barlow, HMS Phoebe, Cawsand Bay. On [10 January 1797] near Cape Clear he fell in with the French 16-gun Corvette L'Atlante, manned with 112 men under the command of Lieutenant Dordelin and captured her after an 8 hour chase. She is a fine vessel only 3 years old and would be fit for service. As soon as he has landed the prisoners and received HMS Phoebe's men from the corvette he will proceed to sea again.
