Folios 242-243: Lambert Brabazon, [Regulating Officer], Dublin. Acknowledges receipt of the letter dated 26 September enclosing [not present] the protection for Isaac Levering till he is 18. States he have taken him out of the Tender going to Plymouth, (as he had received the Irish Bounty as an Able Seaman), and shall detain him in the receiving ship until the vessel he belonged arrives from Ilfracombe, with the certificate of his age and indenture, as directed. By the protection, he is sixteen on the 15 of this month, and by his beard, appearance to me, and all the officers, also his own acknowledgement he is above 20.
