Folios 229-230: [Honourable] Courtenay Boyle, HMS Kangaroo, Plymouth Sound. States that the Clerk of the Cheque of HM Dockyard here advises that the men named on the enclosed list [not present] who voluntarily entered to serve on HMS Kangaroo cannot be paid Bounty without Admiralty authorisation on account of them being entered on foreign service. Requests an order be issued to pay them.
