Folios 202-203: [Honourable] Courtenay Boyle, HMS Kangaroo, Cuxhaven. As per orders of Vice Admiral Buckner [Charles Buckner], dated 1 January 1796, he proceeded from the Nore to off Texel in HMS Kangaroo to ascertain information on any of the Dutch fleet at sea. [Report on what ships were seen in and around Texel, mentions Admiral Braak in the Piet Heyn [Piet Hein] of 54 guns, another of 64 guns and a 3rd of 54 guns plus 3 Frigates and 2 Briggs ready for sea].
