Folios 160-161: George Bowen, HMS Canada, Cove Road. Hopes to get out to sea this morning but no Pilot would take us out as the wind direction had changed. There are a number of West Indiamen joined last night and this morning from Bristol, Liverpool and Glasgow. He has signalled to them to take orders. HMS Arethusa, Ordnance Ship has arrived from Bristol. He has not yet seen the Lieutenant (Agent of Transport). Enclosed [not present] are a copy of his Convoy Instructions.
