Folios 159-160: George Bowen, HMS Canada, the Road off the Cove of Cork. Reports that HMS Canada has not been damaged from being onshore as the mud bank was very new, as he went over the same place in HMS Montagu in 1782. We were ready to sail in 24 hours after the ship was afloat. 2 of our convoy are at Waterford and 2 at Kinsale and 4 have arrived here in the last 2 days. Yesterday a Brig arrived from St. Domingo which brings accounts from there, particulars he has sent to Vice Admiral Kingsmill, [Robert Kingsmill also known as Robert Brice].
