Mr Carey, a Midshipman on HMS Formidable, has been entered on board HMS Undaunted, Captain Roberts [Henry Roberts], but not discharged from HMS Formidable. Encloses Captain Roberts' letter refusing to discharge Carey. Asks that Captain Roberts be ordered to discharge him and that he be sent back to HMS Formidable at Spithead.
