Folio 236-237: William Bedford, HMS Royal Sovereign, Spithead. Has received orders from [Admiral] Sir Peter Parker to turn over the petty officers and Foremastmen of his previous ship, HMS Queen, into HMS Royal Soverign, gives a list of seven petty officers, Peter Goldsmith and Ralph Cuthbertson, Surgeon's Mates, Jasper Scambler, Schoolmaster, Joseph Holmes, Master at Arms, John Fox, Armourer, Thomas Shearman, Armourer's Mate, and William Garrett, Gunsmith, and asks if they should receive warrants for HMS Royal Sovereign before being discharged from HMS Queen.
