Folio 371: Jahleel Brenton, Regulating Captain, Greenock. Encloses a letter from Lieutenant Henryson, requesting to be discharged from the impress service. He has appointed Lieutenant Theophilus Tyre to take his place.
Folios 372-373: enclosure in folio 371. Letter dated 7 October 1793 by Lieutenant William Henryson, Greenock Rendevous, to Captain Jahleel Brenton, Regulating Officer. He is informed by Captain Roddam Home that he is appointed to take command of HMS Africa and that Lord Chatham has asked that Lieutenant Henryson be ready to join the ship. He therefore asks to be released from his present post.
