Folio 267: William Bradley, HMS Comet, Margate Road. He has arrived at Margate Roads on the orders of Rear Admiral MacBride, a copy of which is enclosed. Acting Lieutenant Richard Lawry has gone ashore with the dispatches that he (Bradley) has been charged with. He will proceed to the Downs to receive any dispatches that are sent back to him.
Folio 268: enclosure with folio 267. Copy order dated 10 September 1793 by John MacBride, Rear Admiral of the Blue, HMS Quebec, to William Bradley. To receive dispatches and proceed to the Downs or the most convenient place to land them and send them express to London. Then to receive any returned dispatches at the Downs and deliver them to Admiral MacBride as soon as possible.
