Folio 242: Charles Boyles, HMS Pegasus, Hamoaze. Encloses a letter from the Surgeon attending Mr Hibbard, the Purser, who is unfit to serve and requests to have another Purser.
Folio 243: enclosure with folio 242. Letter dated 16 May 1793 to Captain Charles Boyles from Thomas Arscott, Surgeon, Teignmouth. Mr Hibbard is informed by Mr Damerell that Boyles is the Commander of HMS Pegasus. Mr Hibbard is bedridden with gout and is unable to board the ship.
