The 'Get Ahead of the Games' website was developed by Transport for London on behalf of the Olympic Delivery Authority, London 2012, the Department for Transport, the Highways Agency, National Rail and the Mayor of London. Its purpose was to provide the public with the information they needed to understand where and when travel would be affected and to assist in journey planning during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
