Folio 53. Petition of Gyles Jones, surgeon in Bath [Somerset], to Earl of Harrington. Petition to have recognisance discharged. Gave examination on 8 November [?1745]. Entered a £400 recognisance, with two £200 sureties, on 22 November [?1745] before Mr Watson, Harrington's secretary. Copy of recognisance enclosed. Ordered to attend each session of Court of King's Bench in Westminster [London, Middlesex]. Filed with:
1. Folio 54. Copy. Recognisance of Gyles Jones for £400, with two £200 sureties: John Freke of Salisbury Court, surgeon in parish of St Bridget (or St Bride), London; Stafford Crane, surgeon of same parish. Condition that Jones appear before Court of Kings Bench on last day of Michaelmas term. Signed E Weston. Dated at Middlesex and Westminster.
