Description

Folio 27. James Hardwick to Newcastle. Reporting Robert Throgmorton, 'papist' in Weston Underwood, Buckinghamshire; concealing arms in his 'Haw Haw' [ha-ha], and training men in his yard. Dr Fisher of Olney [Buckinghamshire], another 'papist', also concealing arms at his house. Dated at St John Street [London, Middlesex].
