Folios 108-113. George Kelly to Sir Thomas Sheridan. [see SP 36/83/2/88]. Avoided capture by English agent at Flushing [Netherlands] while travelling to Paris. D of Y [?Duke of York, Henry Benedict Stuart], Lord Marischal and Lord Clancarty dealing with French court. Up to 12,000 troops under Duke of Richlieu's command will be ready by 15 December 1745 (NS). Strong support for 'Prince Edward' [?Charles Edward Stuart] in France. General Bulkeley wishes to raise 'his Countrymen' in Wales. Lord Clare may be sent to Scotland. Mr Waters paid for Mr Carnegy's services. Duke of Ormonde is dead. Lord Tyrconnel, Oxburgh, Captain MacPherson, Lord Sempill and Bahady in Paris. Mr Walsh received £300 for release of hostages. Dated at Paris, 1 December 1745 [NS].
