Grounds for clemency: His mother died on 25 April 1834 and the chaplain requests that the convict be discharged immediately in order to see his mother's body before interment; his good character; his family are respectable householders being milliners and dress-makers; the affliction and distress of the family.
Other papers: Letter from R Storr to the convict informing him of his mother's sudden death. Letter from the convict to his sisters urging them to procure his discharge and berating himself for his selfish behaviour.
