Folios 243-244: John Fyffe, HMS Anson, Whitebooth Roads, Hull.
Reports that the ship is still detained in the Humber by southerly winds having been ready to proceed to Portsmouth since 28 May 1812. The pilots refuse to take charge of the ship until the wind and tides are right. They are also concerned about the jury rig and kedge anchors.
