Description

Folios 113-114: James Sykes, Arundel Street.

Writes that Captain Francis William Fane, late of HMS Cambrian, was taken prisoner by the enemy off the coast of Spain of 13 December 1810. He was taken to France and then exchanged, landing in England on 7 August 1811. Asks on Fane's behalf that he be paid from the day he was taken prisoner to the day of his arrival in England.
