Folios 56-57: enclosed with folios 54-55. Letter dated 7 February 1812 by William Charles Fahie, Hobson's Hotel, Vere Street. Writes to ask for leave and encloses a letter from his proctor.
Folios 58-58A: enclosed with folios 54-55. Letter dated 3 February 1812 by Townleys, Rice & Burchett, to Captain Fahie notifying him that the court of appeal will hear the appeal concerning [Haulpoult Le Duc?] will be held on the next Thursday and that his attendance might be of material interest to him.
