Folios 228-229: Cooke & Halford, Naval Agents, 41 Norfolk Street, London. Enclose a Commission from Rear Admiral, Sir Francis Laforey, 20 April 1811, appointing Commander Robert Merrick Fowler as Captain of HMS Nyaden replacing the deceased Captain Frederick Cotterell.
Folios 230-231: enclosure with folios 228-229. Copy of Commission, 20 April 1811, Rear Admiral, Sir Francis Laforey, HMS Dragon, Carlisle Bay, Barbadoes to Commander Robert Merrick Fowler, HMS Charybdis. Appoints Robert Fowler as Captain of HMS Nyaden.
