Folios 485-486: Matthew Flinders, London. HMS Investigator Letter about my long [6 plus years] and extraordinary detention in the Isle of France, to give such particulars of my situation and efforts to obtain liberty. [Mentions:- Philip Gridley King, Mr Hugh Hope, Port Napoleon, Marquis Wellesley, Sir Edward Pellew, Lord Bentinck, Mr Hope]. [Total of three sides].

Folios 487-488: enclosure with folios 485-486. (1) Philip Gridley King, Governor of HM Territory of New South Wales. To Matthew Flinders, HMS Investigator, Dated 13 September 1810.

Folios 489-490: enclosure with folios 485-486. (2) Matthew Flinders, Port Napoleon, Isle of France. Dated 7 June 1810. Copy of Parole [With copy of the French Original].

Folios 491-492: enclosure with folios 485-486. (3) [Letter about the exchange of prisoners].
