Folios 250-251: Alexander Fraser, Musselburgh, near Edinburgh. Refers to his letters from Perth and Dundee and admits that, despite his ill health, he should not have returned to Edinburgh without first obtaining permission. Asks for the Admiralty to overlook his conduct. He hopes to keep his appointment in charge of the Fencibles at Dundee. He believes his half pay has been stopped since leaving his books and papers in HMS Vanguard.
