Folios 214-215: Robert Forbes, HMS Coquette, Chatham. Points out to the Admiralty that the masts and spars of his ship are larger than any 24-gun ship and almost equal to those of a 28-gun frigate. Wishes to add another 30 supernumeraries to the ship's books in order to have enough men to handle both sails and guns.
