Folios 133-134: Charles Elphinstone Fleeming, 9 Albany, London. Reports that the Carpenter of HMS Bulwark has applied to him to be superannuated after long service. Asks if this can be done, and suggests that he be examined at Portsmouth, as the poor state of his health means it would be dangerous for him to travel. If necessary he can produce good conduct certificates from several Captains under whom he has served in the last 40 years.
