Folios 85-86: Isaac Ferrieres, HMS Thais. Purser Samuel Organ has reported to him that the allowance of £7 a month he receives for fuel and necessaries is not sufficient for the complement of 56 men. Notes that the allowance for a Sloop of War is more than twice this sum. Asks that Mr Organ be given an increased allowance.
