Description

Folios 613-614: Percy Fraser, Sea Fencibles, Liverpool. He says that he has ordered an Officer to take a duty which he believes he is able to perform. He encloses a collection of letters from Doctors which support his Lieutenants in their claims of ill health.

Folio 615: enclosed with folios 613-614. Order to Captain Percy Fraser, Sea Fencibles, Liverpool, to order one of his Lieutenants to transfer to the Impress Service at Greenock.

Folio 616: enclosed with folios 613-614. D. Lindsay M.D., Liverpool. He confirms that Lieutenant George Roach is unfit to travel to Greenock as ordered.

Folio 617: enclosed with folios 613-614. James Watson, Lieutenant, Sea Fencibles, Liverpool. He says that he is unable to comply with the order to travel to Greenock due to his ill health.

Folio 618: enclosed with folios 613-614. James Carson M.D., Liverpool. He certifies that Lieutenant James Watson is not fit to travel to Greenock.

Folio 619: enclosed with folios 613-614. Robert Buchanan M.D., Liverpool. He certifies that Lieutenant George Timins is unfit for duty.

Folio 620: enclosed with folios 613-614. George Timins, Lieutenant, Sea Fencibles, Liverpool. He says that the state of his health prevents him travelling to Greenock as ordered.

Folio 621: enclosed with folios 613-614. Kenneth McKenzie, Lieutenant, Sea Fencibles, Liverpool. He says that his health makes it impossible to undertake the post at Greenock.

Folio 622: enclosed with folios 613-614. Thomas Renwick M.D., Liverpool. He certifies that the health of Lieutenant McKenzie makes him unfit for service.
